Irmgard Denker, geb. Borchers (1917 – 1944)

In 1943, Irmgard Denker was admitted to Bremen's mental hospital, where she gave birth to a daughter. Following bomb damage to the hospital, she was transferred, along with 300 other patients, to Meseritz-Obrawalde hospital. She died shortly afterwards, allegedly of »exhaustion due to refusing food«.
